Sikhism Religion
The Sikhism Course offers an advanced and comprehensive exploration of Sikh theology, philosophy, history, ethics, ritual practice, and contemporary scholarship. Designed for doctoral candidates and advanced scholars, this course integrates rigorous academic inquiry with critical engagement in interdisciplinary perspectives, including historical, sociological, philosophical, ethical, and comparative approaches. Students will engage deeply with canonical texts such as the Guru Granth Sahib, the Dasam Granth, and the Rehat Maryada, as well as with contemporary scholarship addressing issues of diaspora, interreligious dialogue, political theology, and ethical praxis.
